You’ve done an amazing job. No matter the field, failure is always part of the deal,but not everyone remembers those failures. I truly appreciate all the lives you’ve saved. I’m not a doctor, but I’ve seen hospital emergency rooms late at night, and I’ve seen families waiting outside operating rooms for hours on end. None of that would be possible without your dedication. Most people don’t know what you go through inside the OR, or how it’s sheer willpower that keeps you standing by the operating table for hours. Yet you do it all just so you can step outside and tell the families everything’s going to be okay.

I love how you share the medical information in a way that people without medical training can understand. What stands out the most to me though is the way you’ve balanced the chaos of the emergency room with leaning into the vulnerability of your personal experience.
I was kinda lucky. My first rotation in residency was an elective in anesthesia. So I got to do a lot of controlled intubations before attempting in the wild. An important skill to cultivate.
